.htaccess, Nginx site config, or hosting panel settings for missing rules that previously blocked indexes. - Restrict direct access to sensitive directories with explicit deny rules if the content must stay on the server but should not be public.
- Inspect search results, access logs, and security scans to understand whether the exposed paths were already crawled or requested by third parties.
- Remove any sensitive files that never should have been placed in a web-accessible location.
